Apple is more reputable than Microsoft

Forbes and Reputation Institute have disclosed to the world the list of most reputable companies and guess what the Cupertinos are ahead of the Redmondians by one place. We have one more surprise lined up for you which we discuss in the next paragraph.

Can you guess who is above Apple and Microsoft? Well, its Google, the proud makers of Android. Interestingly, the search engine giants are well above Microsoft and Apple and stand at the 9th place which if you ask me says a lot about the company whose latest CEO is Larry Page.

Amazon has been voted as the world’s most reputable company for the following reason:

Amazon is the most reputable company in the U.S. in 2011 because consumers believe that it stands for more than what it sells. Its enterprise-wide story engages consumers in more than just delivering innovative products and services, a trustworthy and ethical customer experience or strong financial performance. The whole really is greater than the sum of the parts with Amazon, and this holistic perception creates a meaningful connection between Amazon and consumers, resulting in an excellent reputation score.

This verdict was reached through a survey which started in January 2011 and saw 32,000 consumers sharing their thoughts.
