Ufone wins Customer Services Innovation Award

ufone logo Ufone wins Customer Services Innovation AwardUfone was recently bestowed the best advertising campaign award 2010-2011 by the Pakistan Advertising society (PAS). This award has soon been followed by the Customer Services Innovation Award, under the Consumer Service Innovation category received at the Global Telecom Business Innovation Awards 2011.

Global Telecom Business is the only website and magazine designed specifically for CEO’s and CFO’s of operators and service providers across the world. The website gives consistent reports on topics such as wireless/mobile, managed services, outsourcing, IP transformation etc.

The event was held in London at Hotel Sheraton on 7th June, 2011, and the award was received by Mr. Ahmad Kamal, Chief Officer Customer Operations on behalf of Ufone. It was indeed a moment of great pride and honor for the entire Nation that an initiative by an Operator from Pakistan competed at a global spectrum and was conferred the best customer services innovator globally.

This program which was launched in the 2nd quarter of 2010, challenged the conventional methodologies of service delivery and focused on providing services to customers at their preferred place and time round the clock . To effectively implement the objectives of this program, a team of trained professionals was formed and was equipped with state of the art SIM based CRM technology.

On the achievement, Ahmed Kamal expressed his delight by praising the efforts, dedication and hard work of his team. He lauded the individuals responsible for the innovations, achievements and the great new services that are helping Ufone build a strong place in the local and global industry.

The whole concept of consumer service innovation grew by challenging the traditional customer thought process where the users were exposed to new and innovative ideas. The aim was to provide consumers with something substantial and by virtue of this program Ufone has managed to build a lasting relationship with their customers.
