Untethered iOS 4.3.1 Jailbreak Release Imminent As iPhone Dev Team Confirms Exploit As ‘Solid’

iOS 4.3.1 is out and the only way to jailbreak it so far is by doing a tethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak using Sn0wbreeze and PwnageTool. Many of us would like to have an untethered jailbreak, so that the jailbreak is much more stable and does not require hooking up to the computer for every reboot. Just yesterday, it was confirmed that Stefan Esser handed over his iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit over to the iPhone Dev Team. Now, the iPhone Dev Team, MuscleNerd to be exact, has confirmed that the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit is ‘Solid’ and that a release is imminent.

So basically, this means that work on implementation of iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit in either Redsn0w and PwnageTool for an untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak is well underway and we should expect a release as soon as the minor tweaks have been made.

Stay tuned as we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more about iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak release.
