Folks! It’s raining Android Phones in Barcelona with Mobile World Congress serving as the launching pad. And as some of you might have guessed, its one more member to add to the growing Xperia Family. Xperia Pro is the name attributed to this smartphone and as the name implies it is targeted towards the Business and Executive level personnels.

The phone will be powered by Gingerbread aka Android 3.0 for which the makers must be appreciated as they have had a history of not bringing the latest Android firmware. Does the name Xperia X10 bring any harsh memories? The phone has a 3.7 inch screen with a sliding out QWERTY keyboard, 1 Ghz processor, 320 MB internal memory and external microSD card support for up to 32 GB. Here’s what I love about the phone a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Here’s what Sony Ericsson wants you to know about the business aspect of the phone:

Xperia Pro is also the ideal business phone for Android fans coming complete with a set of professional functions such as syncing your email, calendar and contacts in a secure way and the pre-loaded Office Suite Pro lets consumers view and edit office documents directly on the phone.
