Verizon Now Selling Samsung Galaxy Tab for $199 Only
by GadgetGizmodo
It looks like the folks over at Verizon have reduced the price of their aging Galaxy Tab to $199 which off course includes the 2 year contract clause.
The thing worth noticing here is that this price drop decision was taken by USâs most reliable 3G carrier Yesterday, which in case you forgot was the iPad 2 launch day. If the reason behind this move was to take away some of the iPad 2 audience, then you can term it as a stupid and unnecessary move because it doesnât make sense at all to compete a 2010 product with a 2011 product , does it?
Another way to look at Verizonâs slashing of Galaxy Tab price is that may be it wants to get rid of the Galaxy Tab stock to make room for a much more capable and a modern Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Galaxy Tab which went live back in 2010 has a 1 Ghz processor, 16 GB built-in card, front and rear facing cameras and runs on Froyo and this is where it self destructs itself doesnât it? So will you purchase the Galaxy Tab or have you already bought the iPad 2?
