Regardless of all the talk circulating, saying that Apple iPad 2 release internationally could be pushed back owing to the recent Japan crisis which may result in iPad 2 parts supply constraints, the latest Best Buy iPad news is that the Canadian Best Buy stores are going to sell iPad 2 starting Friday March 25 at 10. No, you can’t pre-order an iPad 2 from Best Buy Canada.

This was confirmed at Best Buy Canada’s forums where an employee confirmed that Best Buy iPad 2 sales will indeed start from March 25. It has also be confirmed that there shall be no pre-orders for iPad 2 at Best Buy. The sales will be done on a first come first served basis, however a ticketing system will be implemented.

Was confirmed by my store manager. We will be selling them at 10am Friday when we open. It’s first come first serve and there WILL be a line up. If we are doing the same thing as last year we will be handing out a piece of paper which you will fill out telling us which ipad you want, size, color ect..

It is unclear as of now that what is going to be the maximum number of iPads at Best Buy that a person could purchase, guess is two at max.  However, good news is the international launch of iPad 2 is not getting delayed, at least in Canada. Lets hope the situation remains the same across the 26 countries supposed to get the iPad 2 on March 25.
